Government School Out Reach Program

 Government School Out Reach Program At Doddakalasandra, Bengaluru. 

    Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in collaboration with The IEEE Student Branch, JIT And IEEE Signal Processing Society Chapter,JIT organized a outreach program at Doddakalasandra Government School. This activity was conducted by the 7th semester ECE students on 7th November 2025 and 15th November 2025, with the objective of supporting the school through academic engagement and infrastructural improvement.The team travelled to the school by college bus, and the activity was carried out between 9:30 AM and 4:00 PM on both days. 

 

 Activities Conducted  

a. Painting and Wall Decoration 

• Students painted the school walls with bright and engaging colors. 

• Inspirational and motivational quotes were written to encourage positivity among school students. 

 

b. Cleaning Drive 

• A thorough cleaning activity was carried out across classrooms and the school   premises. 

• The initiative contributed to a more hygienic and pleasant learning environment. 

 

c. Teaching Sessions for Classes 8th, 9th, and 10th 

• Students conducted academic sessions for classes 8th, 9th, and 10th. 

• Model‑based teaching was used to simplify science and technology concepts. 

• The interactive approach helped improve student participation and understanding. 

Outcomes 

•  Enhanced the school’s visual and learning environment through painting and   cleaning. 

• Created a motivating environment with well‑designed quotes. 

• Improved academic engagement for school students through model‑based teaching.

. Faculty members accompanied the students and coordinated the event efficiently.  

 A total of   9  IEEE  and 116 non IEEE members were part of the program.
