The Training & Placement Cell serves as a bridge between students and employers by facilitating campus recruitment, internships, industry interactions, problem-solving, and career guidance initiatives.
Our focus extends beyond placements to creating industry-ready professionals through structured training in aptitude, technical skills, communication, problem-solving, and emerging technologies. The Training & Placement Cell at JIT works closely with industry partners to facilitate a seamless recruitment experience. Based on the hiring requirements and eligibility criteria shared by recruiters, suitable student profiles are shortlisted and presented for consideration.
The recruitment process typically includes a Pre-Placement Talk, aptitude and technical assessments, technical and HR interviews, followed by the announcement of results and issuance of offer letters. Throughout the process, the Placement Cell coordinates with recruiters and students to ensure smooth execution, timely communication, and effective support.
From opportunity identification and student preparation to offer acceptance and onboarding, JIT provides end-to-end guidance, helping students confidently transition from campus to career.

Through a blend of technical, aptitude, communication, coding, domain-specific, and career development programs, students are equipped with the skills required to excel in competitive recruitment processes and professional careers.

Executive, Training and Placement
Department of Training and Placement has taken initiative to impart additional skills required for the industry, by conducting additional hands-on sessions to a group of selected students, who have passion for learning new technologies and skills. These sessions are handled by faculty members with extensive industry experience. Most of the topics covered here are out of syllabus and relevant to industry. The topics will be covered in depth. These skill related programs are offered to a batch size of 20 students at a time, drawn from CSE, ISE and AIML departments.
