NATIONAL CADET CORPS [ NCC]

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) is a premier youth organisation and one of the largest uniformed youth movements in the world. It is a Tri-Services Organization, comprising the Army, Navy, and Air Force, dedicated to grooming young individuals into disciplined, patriotic, and responsible citizens. NCC provides students with a platform for personal development, leadership training, and community service, fostering discipline, commitment, moral values, and a strong sense of duty.

The NCC at Jyothy Institute of Technology (JIT) is an integral part of the institution, operating under the leadership of Lt. Dr. Manoj Kumar M, Associate NCC Officer. The unit maintains the highest standards of excellence, providing cadets with opportunities for adventure training, social service, and leadership development in a structured military environment. While NCC training does not impose any obligation for active military service, cadets receive preference in various selections based on their achievements in the corps.

Through its multi-faceted programs, NCC plays a crucial role in nation-building by shaping young individuals into future leaders who contribute meaningfully to society.
