Aakarshana Photography Club

The Aakarshana Photography Club is the official photography and visual storytelling club of
Jyothy Institute of Technology. The club is dedicated to capturing the spirit of the institution by
documenting academic, cultural, technical, sports, and social events throughout the year.

Our members are passionate photographers and creative storytellers who preserve memorable
moments through photography and videography. The club encourages students with an interest
in photography to enhance their creativity, develop technical skills, and explore different styles
of visual storytelling.

Aakarshana plays a vital role in covering major college events, workshops, seminars,
conferences, cultural fests, sports meets, graduation ceremonies, and celebrations. The
photographs and videos captured by the club are used for the institute’s website, social media
platforms, newsletters, brochures, and other promotional materials.

The club also motivates aspiring photographers by providing opportunities to learn composition,
lighting, camera techniques, editing, and event photography while working as a team in
real-world situations. Through collaborative projects and event coverage, members gain
practical experience, build professional portfolios, and contribute to showcasing the vibrant
campus life of the institution.
