International Women’s Day

International women’s day was celebrated at JIT on 12-03-2024, from 3.00 PM onwards, at
JIT auditorium. Mrs. Tejaswini Ananthkumar, Chairperson of Adamya Chetana, was the
chief guest for the event.
The event started with the invocation song. Students of Kalamilana presented songs related to
women achievements.
Mrs Tejaswini Ananthkumar, spoke about the achievements of women in all disciplines. She
also stressed about the climatic change, conservation of forests and underground water
depletion in Indian cities. She also talked about the need to save environment for the future
generations. JIT honoured Mrs. Tejaswini Ananthkumar for her contribution to the society.
JIT presented mementos to all the teaching and non-teaching staff, who have completed 10
years of service. A group photo was taken to mark the occasion.
We thank Principal and the Management for supporting us to conduct this event.
Sweet packets were distributed to all the participants. We thank all the attendees who have
made this function a grand success.
