Tyagaraja and Purandara Susmarane

Tyagaraja and Purandaradasa Susmarane event was conducted under the banner of
KalaMilana on 26-02-2024 from 03.30 to 05.00 PM, at the Main Auditorium, Jyothy Institute
of Technology.
Around 20 students comprising of Vocalists, Violinists, Mridanga artists, Tabla artists,
Harmonium artists etc. performed 2 Tyagaraja Pancharatna kritis and Purandara dasa
Keerthanas.
The event was well appreciated by faculty members and students’ community.
The artists were honoured with appreciation letter and mementos by Mr. Narasimhan, Vice
Chairman, JCT, Mr. Ramesh B K, Trustee, JCT and Dr. Gopalakrishna, Principal, JIT.
We thank Principal and the Management for supporting us to conduct this event.
Light refreshments was provided to the attendees and artists after the event.
We thank all the attendees who have made this function a grand success.
