Ms.Nami Susan Kurian has obtained her Bachelor’s in ECE from RGCE, Anna University, and her Master’s in Communication Systems from REC, Anna University. She is pursuing her Ph.D in Communication Systems (Wireless Sensor Networks) at Hindustan University. She is currently working as an Assistant professor in the Dept. of ECE at Jyothy Institute of Technology, Bangalore. She is an innovative and knowledgeable professional having 7+ years of experience in the teaching field. She possesses strong practical skills in the latest technologies like IoT, Networking, and Machine Learning. She did the “CCNA 200-301” course at BSOFT Networking Solutions, Bangalore. Besides, she also completed the course “HCL Certified Professional – Basic hardware & networking, CCNA and Redhat”, at HCL CDC, Chennai. She completed CompTIA Network+ (N10-008) course in 2023. She is passionate about training students on Networking and IoT. She completed various NPTEL certifications with an Elite score & mentor certificate in various courses. She has received the InSc Young Researcher Award in 2020. She is passionate about research and has published articles in Impact Factor/Scopus Indexed journals and International conferences. She is a lifelong learner who prefers to be updated with new technologies and has attended various FDPs, Seminars, and Workshops in different parts of India. She published a book titled ‘Ad Hoc and Wireless Sensor Networks’. She is the Editorial board member and Reviewer of various journals. She has assisted with several student projects and encouraged them to apply for design and project competitions.  She is a life member of IEI (Institute of Engineers) and InSc. She worked in-hand with her senior faculty members in submitting project proposals under various agencies.
