Lt. Dr. Manoj Kumar M is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Jyothy Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. He holds a Ph.D. in Cloud Computing from Jain University, an M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, and a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, all affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological
University (VTU), Karnataka.
With over 14 years of professional experience, including 13 years in academia and 1.5 years in the IT industry, he is a recognized Ph.D. Supervisor under VTU. He has published 18+ research papers in reputed SCI/SCOPUS-indexed journals and international conferences. He serves as a reviewer for reputable international publishers,
including Elsevier, Springer Nature, Taylor & Francis, and ScienceDirect, and has been invited to serve as a Session Chair, Resource Person, and Guest Speaker at various national and international conferences.
Lt. Dr. Manoj is an AWS Academy Educator, Google Cloud Educator, Red Hat Academy Educator, and EMC Academic Associate. He introduced AWS Academy, Google Cloud Education, Coursera for Campus, and Red Hat Academy at Jyothy Institute of Technology, enabling more than 1,300 students to earn globally recognized certifications and develop industry-ready skills.
In addition to his academic responsibilities, he serves as an Associate NCC Officer (Lieutenant Rank), fostering leadership, discipline, and national service among engineering students. He has actively contributed to NBA, NAAC, NIRF, and QS I-GAUGE accreditation initiatives and is a Life Member of the Computer Society of India (CSI) and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). His vision is to bridge academia and industry through research, innovation, and emerging technologies, preparing students for successful global careers.
