Dr Jayatirtha M Patil, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering,  received his doctoral degree from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in the year  2023. Confer his M. Tech. programme in Product Design and Manufacturing in the year  2013 from BMSCE Bengaluru, affiliated to VTU Belagavi. Graduated BE in Mechanical  Engineering in the year 1998 from BLDEA’S College of Engineering Bijapur, affiliated with  Karnataka University Dharwad. Served in the Chemical Industry for 5 years and 19 years of  academic experience. He has published 5 research journals national and international in the  area of Metal Matrix Composite. He has a lifetime membership in the ISTE- Chapter and also  in the SAE student chapter. Functioning as Programme Coordinator of the National Service  Scheme for the past 15 years addressing social and societal needs towards nation-building.
