Sri. E. S. Dwarkadasa

Dr. E. S. Dwarakadasa is a distinguished academician, technologist, and institution builder with an illustrious career spanning academia, research, and industry. A former Professor in the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, he is widely recognized for his contributions to materials engineering, technology development, and industrial innovation. He also served as the Chairman and Managing Director of Karnataka Hybrid Micro Devices Limited (KHMDL), where he played a significant role in advancing indigenous technology and promoting industry–academia collaboration. He currently serves as a member of the Governing Council of Jyothy Institute of Technology, contributing his vast experience to the institution’s academic and research initiatives.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dwarakadasa has been a passionate advocate of quality education, research excellence, and innovation-driven engineering. His research interests include metallurgical and materials engineering, electronic materials, hybrid microelectronics, advanced manufacturing technologies, materials characterization, and technology commercialization.
