Dr. Bhargavi C is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Jyothy Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. She holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering Sciences from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, an M.Tech in Structural Engineering from REVA University, Bengaluru, and a Bachelor’s degree from Brindavan College of Engineering, Bengaluru (affiliated to VTU, Belagavi). During her academic training, she also worked as a project student at CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai. She is proficient in construction-related software including Revit-Architectural, Revit-Structural, and ETABS. Her research and teaching interests span Structural Analysis, Bio Composites, Concrete Technology, and Computer-Aided Design. She has guided multiple student projects sponsored by the Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bangalore, and has authored several Scopus-indexed journal publications, including in the Journal of Building Engineering, Advances in Civil Engineering, and the Journal of Building Pathology and Rehabilitation. She also serves as a peer reviewer for Results in Engineering (Elsevier), Scientific Reports (Springer Nature), and the International Journal of Energy Research (Wiley). She holds life membership in the Indian Society for Earthquake Technology (ISET), the International Association of Engineers (IAENG), and the Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI).
