Event Summary The one-day workshop on Quantum Computing was organized by AQMATiCS which is a global Quantum Computing and Artificial Intelligence innovation organisation, headquartered in Texas, USA, with a strong academic and research presence in India, with the objective of introducing participants to the rapidly evolving field of quantum technologies. The workshop focused on building a strong conceptual foundation by explaining the principles of quantum mechanics that underpin quantum computing.

The session began with Mr. Roshan giving an overview of classical computing limitations and the need for quantum computing. Key concepts such as qubits, superposition, entanglement, and quantum gates were discussed in detail.

The resource person also explained how quantum computing differs from classical computing in terms of data representation and processing capabilities.
