Event Summary A Soft Skills Workshop was organized for the 2nd Semester students and was conducted by students of the 4th and 6th Semesters under the guidance of Mrs. Usha Sundaresh. (Dept. of Humanities (English). The workshop was designed to develop essential interpersonal and professional skills among junior students through interactive learning methods. The sessions focused on communication, teamwork, self-awareness, critical thinking, interview preparation, and leadership skills, helping students bridge the gap between academic learning and professional expectations.
Highlights Self-introduction activities to enhance confidence and communication skills.
• Interactive life management exercises covering Time Management, Team Management, Conflict Resolution, Stress Management, and Collaboration.
• SWOT Analysis activity for self-assessment and personal development.
• Sessions on Interview Essentials and Non-Verbal Communication.
• Impromptu Speaking activities to improve spontaneous thinking and public speaking.
• Mock Group Discussions focusing on communication, leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.
Attendance 2nd Semester Students, facilitated by 4th and 6th Semester student trainers under faculty guidance.
Outcome The workshop successfully strengthened students’ confidence, communication abilities, teamwork, self-awareness, and critical thinking skills. Participants gained valuable insights into professional communication, interview techniques, and collaborative problem-solving through hands-on learning experiences.
