REPORT ON INDUSTRY VISIT TO PARAM AND PARSEC

On 25th November 2025, a group of students and faculty members from Jyothy Institute of Technology visited Param and Parsec as part of an academic and cultural exposure initiative. Students from multiple departments—Computer Science and Engineering (1st & 3rd semesters), Electronics and Communication Engineering (1st & 3rd semesters), and Mechanical Engineering (5th semester)—participated in the visit, accompanied by faculty members from their respective departments.

The primary objective of the visit was to gain insights into Vedanton, an upcoming program jointly organized by Param × Vedanta Bharati, scheduled for January. The visit was intended to help students understand the vision, scope, and learning opportunities embedded within the initiative.

The session commenced with a detailed presentation by Mr. Inavamsi Enaganti, Director of Param, who provided an overview of the organization’s mission, activities, and community-focused projects. This was followed by an informative session by Mr. Adarsh, who introduced the concept of Dakshinasya Darshini and explained its significance in the Vedanton program. The presentation emphasized cultural learning, youth engagement, value-oriented initiatives, and avenues for student participation in collaborative activities.

An interactive discussion session allowed students to ask questions related to the program’s objectives, expected outcomes, and participation procedures. The organizers elaborated on how Vedanton aims to integrate cultural understanding with contemporary educational experiences. A lunch break was arranged for all participants, during which students interacted informally with the organizing team, fostering better connection and engagement.

Following the presentation, the group visited the Parsec Lab, where students observed various ongoing technological innovations and research-driven engineering projects. The visit provided exposure to areas such as automation, hardware design, prototyping, and innovation-based problem solving. Students had the opportunity to view prototypes, understand project workflows, and gain practical insights into the technological development process.

Overall, the visit to Param and Parsec was highly enriching and insightful. It provided a valuable platform for students to explore both cultural and technological dimensions beyond the academic curriculum. The sessions inspired students to participate in meaningful initiatives like Vedanton and encouraged interdisciplinary learning. The experience proved memorable and beneficial for all participants.
