FDP on Recent Advances in Civil Engineering

“RECENT ADVANCES IN CIVIL ENGINEERING”
Day-01: 29-12-2021 – Inaugural session – 9.30 a.m to 10.45 a.m.
The inaugural session commenced exactly at 9.30 a.m at Jyothy Institute of
Technology, Bengaluru main auditorium. The programme has launched through both online
and offline blended mode. The chief guests are invited from both AICTE and ISTE.
Sri.Col.Venkat, Director (Faculty Development), AICTE and Prof.Vijay D Vaidya, Executive
Secretary, ISTE are gestured the event. Dr.Sreekeshava K S, Co-ordinator, AICTE-ISTE
refresher programme briefed about the programme and Dr. K Gopalakrishna, Principal, JIT
honoured chief guest. Both dignitaries are given useful insights about programme to
participants. More than 200 participants registered for refresher programme from various
states. As per AICTE-ISTE guidelines 100 participants are selected based on priority given to
ISTE life members. Dr.Kumar R Rao, Head, Department of Civil Engineering, and
Welcomed all the dignitaries present on stage and participated through online.
