INDUSTRY VISTI TO “BIS LABORATORIES”
Department of ECE, JIT, organized an industrial exposure visit to IV semester students on 25th May 2026 to the Bureau of Indian Standards located at, Jalahalli Metro, Peenya Industrial Area 1st Stage, Tumkur Rd, Vivekananda Nagar, Peenya, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560058 for the students of Electronics and Communication Engineering.
During this visit, the students acquired knowledge about the basics of Standards and their importance. Gained an overview of various laboratory tests that are being conducted to standardize the products. This visit made to acquire knowledge about the workflow of the organization and the way the products are assisted towards standardization.
