Following the inaugural ritual, Dr. Krishna Venkatesh, Secretary of the Jyothy Charitable Trust, presented the Annual Report. The morning session was initiated by “Guru Seva Nirata” Sri P. A. Murali, Chief Executive Officer & Administrator of Dakshinamnaya Sri Sharada Peetham, Sringeri. His address highlighted the importance of balancing technological advancement with ethical values, individual character, and a committed sense of societal welfare. Following his address, Dr. K. Ullas Kamath, Founder of UK&Co Family Business Transformation and former Joint Managing Director of Jyothy Labs Limited, delivered an engaging address focused on essential professional mindset shifts. He emphasized that modern engineering requires not only technical knowledge but also an understanding of financial literacy, operational resilience, corporate compliance, and market demands. Providing a global technology perspective, Sri Krishnaswamy Subbarao, Global Head of Product Management & Strategy at Infosys Finacle, discussed rapid developments in automation, cloud engineering, and digital transformation. Sri Krishnaswami Subbarao also provided the incoming batch with insights into the soft skills, cloud-native competencies, and adaptive technical mindsets required to thrive in a competitive international job market. Smt. Archana C, KAS, Joint Director, Department of Technical Education, Bengaluru, addressed the students on the evolving educational and regulatory landscape.
