Industrial Visit to T K Halli Water Treatment Plant

The Department of Civil Engineering organized an industrial visit to the TK Halli Water Treatment Plant for the students of 3^rd, 5^th, and 7^th semesters on 26^th September 2025. The visit was aimed at enhancing the practical exposure and field knowledge of budding civil engineers, bridging the gap between classroom learning and real-time applications.

During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the treatment processes involved in supplying safe drinking water, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, and disinfection techniques. The technical staff of the plant provided detailed explanations on the working mechanisms, capacity, and operational challenges of the facility.
