Study Abroad Seminar and Counselling Desk Activity

The agenda of the seminar was to create awareness among students about higher education opportunities abroad and to provide detailed insights into available scholarships, fee waivers, and financial support options for Indian students. The session aimed to guide students on choosing suitable countries and universities, understanding admission procedures, preparing essential documents, and planning timelines for applications. The seminar also focused on countries offering free or low-cost education, helping students explore budget-friendly global study options. Additionally, a counselling desk was arranged to address individual queries of interested 7th-semester students from CSE, ISE, and AIML regarding course selection, eligibility, and career pathways

Key Outcome:

The Overseas Education Seminar successfully created large-scale awareness among 7th semester engineering students about global study opportunities, scholarships, and fee-waiver programs. Students gained clarity on low-cost and tuition-free education options in various countries, along with insights into application processes, timelines, and required documentation. The counselling desk enabled personalized guidance for interested students, helping them align their higher-education goals with suitable countries and programs. The session strengthened the institution’s efforts toward global academic exposure and prepared students for international career pathways through informed decision-making.
