 Mr. Rakesh P obtained his Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from  Visvesvaraya Technological University and M.Tech in Energy Engineering from Jain  University. He has 12 years of teaching experience at under graduate level and 1 year  of experience at Industry. He has guided more than 10 projects at under graduate  engineering level. He has worked as Faculty Advisor for SAE Student Competitions  such as SAE ELECTRA, SAE-BAJA and ECOKART series. He has participated in  several workshops and Conferences held at National level. He has served Visvesvaraya  Technological University under various roles assigned to him from time to time. His  areas of interest include Heat Transfer, Engineering Thermodynamics, Electronic  Cooling, Renewable Energy Utilization, and Electric Mobility. He has the honors of  Life Member of ISTE and is an active member of Society of Automobile Engineer,  India-SAE INDIA. Currently he is working as Assistant Professor.

  • Completed Proficiency Certificate Course titled “Introduction to numerical grid generation  and fluid flow Computation”. (Jan-May 2015) From Center Continuous Education, (CCE) Proficiency, IISC, Bengaluru. 
  • Completed 1 month Internship Training programme in Industrial Automation- Hydraulics  and Pneumatics of Course duration -140hrs ,Certificate No BNG-4518, Issued on 03rd September 2018, From Karnataka German Technical Training Institute (KGTTI), Bengaluru  
  •  Completed NPTEL Online Certification Course (8 weeks programme) in “ Introduction to  Research “ held from Feb to April 2019
