S.Prahanjan received his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Jain University Bengaluru in 2016. The title of his thesis: Devanagari Script Recognition: Some Novel Approaches. He holds Master’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from MAHE in 2004 and a B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering from Gulbarga university in 1996. He is an academician with a blend of academic and research experience. He has served at Prodhadevaraya Institute of Technology as Lecturer and HoD in Computer Science & Engineering department from inception of institution. He then worked in various capacities including Asst Professor, Professor and HoD of Computer Science & Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering at Don Bosco Institute of Technology. He then served at Jain University in various capacities as Asst Professor, Associate Professor and HoD of Information Science & Engineering Department. He was also a resource person for Infosys Campus Connect program. He has Coordinated ATAL sponsored FDP on Deep Learning and IOT,Outcome Based Education sponsored by TEQUP VTU. He is reviewer for various peer review journals. He was jury member for TOYACATHON 2021 organized by AICTE.
