Mrs. Rashmi P.N is a highly qualified professional with a Master’s in Polymer Science and Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Industrial & Production Engineering. With a teaching background, she provided CAD lessons to professionals and students, integrating theory, workshops, and lab sessions.
Her notable project explored the impact of light on the conductivity of a specific polymer used in PCB manufacturing. At the National Aerospace Laboratory, she worked on piezoelectric sensors, contributing to aerospace applications. Mrs. Rashmi P.N played a pivotal role in initiating and developing an academic program, showcasing entrepreneurial and leadership skills. Additionally, she contributed to marketing Engineer Materials across Karnataka.
In industry, at Quest Global, Mrs. Rashmi P.N excelled as an FE Analyst, handling yaw bearing projects for General Electric. She demonstrated expertise in project planning, ANSYS Macros development, onshore FEA team collaboration, customer liaison, and mentoring. Her role extended to interpreting and documenting analysis findings, ensuring quality and efficiency in FEA projects.
Currently, Mrs. Rashmi P.N serves as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering department. She is actively involved in a Nidhi Prayas grant project titled “Development of sericin polymer-based biodegradable seed coating for enhanced seed protection and germination.” This project focuses on advancing sustainable agricultural practices through the application of sericin polymer in creating environmentally friendly seed coatings to improve seed protection and germination rates. Mrs. Rashmi P.N’s role in academia and her dedication to innovative research further contribute to her well-rounded professional profile.
