Dr. Sreekeshava K.S graduated in Civil Engineering and completed his post- graduation in Structural Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering and Sciences from BMS college of Engineering affiliated to Visvesvaraya technological university, Belagavi. He has more than nine year of teaching experience and works as an Associate Professor. His works on Earthquake Engineering, Concrete Technology, soil-Structure Interaction, Application of GIS in Water Resources Engineering and Masonry Structures are published in various international journals. He has published more than 40 publications which includes springer and Taylor Francis book chapters. He has written more than 10 book chapters and presented technical papers in national/international conferences. In his short duration of teaching experience he has authored two books including “Elements of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics” and “Mechanics of materials”. He has guided more than 10 UG projects sponsored by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bangalore from 2015 to 2021. He has the honours’ of life member of ISTE, ICI, INSC, NICEE and IAENG. He has successfully completed the research funding grant (worth 2 lakhs) under competitive research funding scheme initiated under scheme of TEQIP by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He has successfully coordinated funded AICTE-ISTE faculty refresher Programme (worth more than one lakh) under the banner of department of Civil Engineering. He is also working as Student project proposal (SPP) coordinator and VTU funding coordinator for all departments. Dr. Sreekeshava K.S contributed as technical paper reviewer for several international journals which includes Journal of King Saud University-Science-Elsevier, IJSAE&M-Springer, walailak Journal of Science & Technology-indexed by Scopus and Materials today Proceedings-Elsevier. He is also involved in several civil engineering consultancy services which includes planning, designing of structures, proof checking, third party inspection and consultant for Axel maps pvt ltd, Bengaluru.

Bhargavi C, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering received her Bachelor’s Degree from Brindavan College of Engineering, Bangalore, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and M Tech in Structural Engineering from Reva University, Bangalore in 2014 and 2016 respectively. She was a part of research on “Effect of Blast Loading on LSCC structures when thickness of core is varied”, in CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Center, Chennai where she worked as project student for a period of 6 months(Jan 2016-June 2016). She has 2.5 years of Industry Experience(2016-2018) and 1 year of Teaching Experience(2021-2022). She is well versed with construction related software such as Revit-Architectural, Revit-Structural and ETABs. Her areas of interest include Structural Analysis, Concrete Technology and Computer Aided Designs.
