The Department of Mechanical Engineering has been functioning since the inception of the college in the year 2019 with an intake of 18 students each academic year. The department consists of highly dedicated, well-qualified, and competent faculty members active in teaching, research, and building quality profiles of students. Most of the faculty members are from reputed academic institutions with research and industry backgrounds contributing to the implementation of industry-oriented education to students.
The department has laboratories as per university norms for hands-on training and is also into research in the vistas of Mechanical Engineering showcasing the ability through quality publications jointly with the students & research scholars. All the labs are developed taking into consideration the needs of academia and industry. The department has a recognized R&D center by VTU, Belagavi.
