The e-Yantra lab of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Jyothy
Institute of Technology is set to host a prestigious national-level 24-hour event,
ROBOTHON, on the 5th and 6th of July, 2024. This innovative competition is organized in
collaboration with Loginware as the industry partner and IEEE student Branch JIT with juries
from e-Yantra, IIT Bombay, and Loginware Softtec Private Limited. ROBOTHON aims to
bring together brilliant minds from across the nation to engage in a rigorous and exhilarating
robotics challenge. Participants will have the opportunity to demonstrate their technical
prowess, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
This event promises to foster innovation, enhance technical competencies, and inspire the
next generation of engineers and technologists.
Students from Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Karnataka will converge for this exciting event,
with 50 teams, each comprising four members, ready to showcase their talents. A unique
theme will be provided to the participants, challenging them to design and program a robot
that aligns with the given theme. This immersive experience will not only test their
engineering and programming skills but also encourage teamwork, critical thinking, and real-
world problem-solving abilities.
ROBOTHON at Jyothy Institute of Technology represents a significant opportunity for
