Mr. Rakesh B K, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering,  pursuing his doctoral programme from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. He has studied M. Tech. in Thermal Power Energy Systems from Oxford  College of Engineering, Bengaluru, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and Bachelors in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Global Academy of  Technology, Bengaluru, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University. He has 0.5  years of Industry experience and 11 years of academic experience. He has published  numerous research papers in various International standard journals. He has one patent in  his name. He is life member in ISTE and professional member in Society of Automotive  Engineers (SAE). He is proficiency certificate holder from IISC and also an Amateur  Radio Station License Holder (HAM) passion towards societal work. He is a passionate  and professional cricketer and played many international tournaments representing  organization at different capacities.
