Mr. Ganesh C R, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, received his bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Government Engineering College (VTU, Belagavi), Hassan in the year 2012, Masters in the field of Geotechnical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi in the year 2016. He has 2 years of industrial experience and 8 years of teaching experience at under graduate level of Engineering. With active participation in international/national conferences and publications in reputed journals, his areas of research interests are Soil reinforcement, Geo-synthetics, Soil Contamination, Bearing Capacity, Soil Investigation and Ground Improvement Techniques. He has the honors of Life Member of Indian Geotechnical Society (IGS), Indian Concrete Institute (ICI), Indian Society of Earthquake Technology (ISET) and Life member of International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Hong Kong. He has successfully coordinated as a co-coordinator for AICTE-ISTE faculty refresher Programme (worth more than one lakh) and AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy funded FDP (worth 3 lakh) under the banner of department of Civil Engineering. He is also an Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) coordinator from the department of civil engineering.
