Dr. Madhu B. R is working as Associate Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He graduated in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangalore University. He completed his M.Tech from Visvesvaraya Technological University and secured 3rd rank. He has completed his PhD from Jain University with his research area being Cloud Computing. His research interests are in the fields of Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Databases and Block Chain. He has rich Industry experience at Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab, Bangalore and Academic/Research experience. He has guided many projects in the area of Cloud computing, Database, Embedded Systems, Data Analytics and Networks which has resulted in technical papers in International peer-reviewed Journals and National Conference. He has published several articles in international conferences. Research papers are indexed in SCOPUS. He has completed certified programs in new technologies under The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) and Cognitive Classes (formerly known as Big Data University). He was a resource person for the workshop conducted for all Visvesvaraya Technological University faculties on Embedded Systems. He has conducted Value Addition programs and placement training at various Engineering colleges. He was also a resource person for the Infosys Campus Connect program. He has played a key role in organizing various workshops on Embedded Systems, Cyber Security and Ethical Hacking, and Application development using Embedded Systems successfully. He has been a panel member for various National level conferences.
