IDEA PITCH COMPETITION – 2025

On the 27th of September 2025, an Idea Pitch Competition was organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology and Management (DSATM), Bengaluru. A total of 20 teams participated in the event,
showcasing a wide range of innovative and competitive ideas.
Our institution was represented by the team “VECTOR DYNAMICS”,
comprising four students:

The team participated under the guidance of Dr. H. R. Aniruddha Ram. The project presented was “Design and Structural Analysis of a Unique High-Strength Bicycle Frame.” The primary objective of the design was to create a bicycle frame that is lightweight, cost-effective, and highly durable, meeting the dual requirements of performance and affordability. Amidst fierce competition, our team delivered an excellent performance and secured 2nd Place in the competition. The achievement was further recognized with a cash prize of ₹4,000/-. This accomplishment highlights the dedication and innovative thinking of our students, along with the continuous academic and moral support extended by the faculty and institution. On behalf of the team, I sincerely express my gratitude to our Honourable HoD, Principal, Director, Trustee Members & management for their constant encouragement, support, and motivation, which made this achievement possible.
