Dr Divakar Harekal Professor and HOD Information Science and Engineering, received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics and Communication from Gogte Institute of Technology, Karnataka University, received his M Tech  in Computer Science and Engineering   from Vinayaka Mission University and PhD from  Jagadish Prasad Tiberwala University Rajasthan with his research area being Software Engineering. He has 17  years  of  experience in Industry and 18 years of  experience in academics. His area of interest include Microcontollers,  Embedded systems,  IOT, cryptography and network security. He has published over 15 papers in international journal   and conferences. He is a life member of ISTE. He has delivered lectures in various colleges on IOT.

Dr. Harshvardhan Tiwari

Associate Professor

Dr. Harshvardhan Tiwari has completed PhD in Computer Science and Engineering in the year of 2014, post graduate study (MTech) and graduate study (BE) both in Computer Science and Engineering in 2009 and 2005 respectively. His research interests include Data Mining, Machine Learning, Data Science, Deep Learning, Algorithms, DBMS, and Information Security. He has more than 7 years of teaching and research experience besides having published in national and international journals alongside conference papers. Research papers are indexed in SCOPUS and DBLP. He has also completed several certified programmes in new technologies under The National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) initiative. Over the past five years, He has taught a variety Computer Science courses like Python Programming, Cryptography and Data Science at UG and PG level and has worked on different multi-disciplinary UG and PG projects like Machine Vision Based Fruit Grading System, Building Tongue Diagnosis System in Ayurveda using Image Processing and Machine Learning Techniques, Yield Prediction System and Chaotic Image Encryption Scheme. He has also conducted various workshops on recent IT technologies and different Accreditation processes and his programming skills include Python, MySQL, Numpy, Matplotlib, Pandas, and Seaborn. Currently He is guiding 4 PhD scholars. The research work mainly focuses on different applications of machine vision and is an active member of many professional scientific bodies such as IAENG, ICST, IEI, reviewer for journals such as EJI, JECI and SSCC.

Dr. Kishore G R

Kishore G R obtained his bachelor’s degree in Information science and engineering, master’s degree in Digital Electronics. He has completed his comprehensive viva in Ph.D in Bioinformatics domain. He has teaching experience of over 10.2 years. He has guided more than 8 UG projects and 3 PG projects. He has published several articles in reputed journals in the domains like Bioinformatics, Heterogeneous Parallel Processing and classification of heart diseases using ML. He has attended several conferences and workshops. His lecture videos scored more than 1000 likes on You Tube. His areas of interest include Analog and Digital electronics, Algorithms, Microcontrollers, HPP, ML, IoT .He is a life member for CSI,MISTE.

Dr. Abhishek Kulkarni

Mrs. Anupama Viaykumar

Mrs. Anupama Vijaykumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Engineering, has over 9 years of academic experience. She received her bachelor’s degree in the year 2005 in Information Science and Engineering under VTU from SLN College of Engineering, Raichur-Karnataka and a Master’s degree in the year 2014 in Computer Networks and Engineering under VTU from BNM Institute of Technology, Bangalore-Karnataka. She is currently pursuing her Research under VTU in the field of AIEd(Artificial Intelligence in Education), her research interests include Artificial Intelligence in Education and Educational Data Mining. She has published three research papers in International journals and International conferences. She is a life member of ISTE.

Mrs. Rashmi K.S

Rashmi K S holds a Bachelor’s degree (2009) and a Master’s degree (2014) in Computer Science and Engineering from Visweswaraiah Technological University. She worked as Assistant Professor in Jain University from 2014 -2016, where she taught undergraduate and post-graduate students. As Research Associate at CIIRC, Jyothy Institute of Technology from 2017-2018. Worked as Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology.  Her research interests include Bioinformatics, Big data analytics, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Molecular Modelling and Simulation, and 3D printing, and Parallel cluster computing.
