Dr. Sreekeshava K.S graduated in Civil Engineering and completed his post- graduation in Structural Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi and doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Civil Engineering and Sciences from BMS college of Engineering affiliated to Visvesvaraya technological university, Belagavi. He has more than nine year of teaching experience and works as an Associate Professor. His works on Earthquake Engineering, Concrete Technology, soil-Structure Interaction, Application of GIS in Water Resources Engineering and Masonry Structures are published in various international journals. He has published more than 40 publications which includes springer and Taylor Francis book chapters. He has written more than 10 book chapters and presented technical papers in national/international conferences. In his short duration of teaching experience he has authored two books including “Elements of Civil Engineering and Engineering Mechanics” and “Mechanics of materials”. He has guided more than 10 UG projects sponsored by Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology (KSCST), Bangalore from 2015 to 2021. He has the honours’ of life member of ISTE, ICI, INSC, NICEE and IAENG. He has successfully completed the research funding grant (worth 2 lakhs) under competitive research funding scheme initiated under scheme of TEQIP by Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He has successfully coordinated funded AICTE-ISTE faculty refresher Programme (worth more than one lakh) under the banner of department of Civil Engineering. He is also working as Student project proposal (SPP) coordinator and VTU funding coordinator for all departments. Dr. Sreekeshava K.S contributed as technical paper reviewer for several international journals which includes Journal of King Saud University-Science-Elsevier, IJSAE&M-Springer, walailak Journal of Science & Technology-indexed by Scopus and Materials today Proceedings-Elsevier. He is also involved in several civil engineering consultancy services which includes planning, designing of structures, proof checking, third party inspection and consultant for Axel maps pvt ltd, Bengaluru. Dr. B V V Subramanya

Dr. B V V Subrahmanya has done his B.Sc and, B.E from Bangalore University; did his M.E and Ph.D from Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. He has over three decades of Teaching, Research and Industrial experience of high standing. He has guided a number of postgraduate students including doctoral students during his illustrious career. He has published several research papers in international, national journals and conferences. He has participated in number of International/National conferences, workshops, seminars in various capacities such as chairman of sessions, invited speaker, panelist, etc. He is a Consultant for a number of public/private sector projects and he has authored a couple of books for UG course on Structural Analysis, Numerical Methods and Management Science published by reputed publishers. He has served as member of the board of studies , board of examiners, and also in the LIC committee for a couple of terms in Visvesvaraya Technological University& Bangalore University and other autonomous colleges apart from deemed universities. He is a member of Institution of Engineers, Indian Society of Technical Education, and a member of the Indian Geotechnical Society. He is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Civil Engineering and also an advisor to the department.

Dr. Chandre Gowda C

Chandre Gowda C, obtained Bachelor in civil engineering from V. T. U., Masters in Hydraulics and Water Resources from Indian Institute of Technology Madras and Ph.D from National Institute of Technology Karnataka. Besides two years of industrial exposure in site work and estimation, he has been associated in research and teaching from past ten years at various institutes. He has several articles published in national and international journals.  His research activity includes rainfall runoff modeling, derivation of operation policy for small, medium and large hydraulic structures. The ongoing research activities are flood management and reservoir operation. He has delivered lectures on modeling and application of GIS in water resources at various colleges. He is well versed with programming languages such as C and MATLab. He is a associate member of Institution of Engineers, India.

Mr. Ganesh. C. R

Ganesh C R obtained his Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering from Government Engineering College (VTU, Belagavi), Hassan in the year 2012, Masters in the field of Geotechnical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi. He has 2 years of industrial experience and 4 years of teaching experience at under graduate level of Engineering. With active participation in international/national conferences and publications in reputed journals, his areas of research interests are Soil reinforcement, Geo-synthetics, Soil Contamination, Bearing Capacity, Soil Investigation and Ground Improvement Techniques. Dr. Skanda Kumar

B N Skanda Kumar holds a B.Tech in Civil Engineering a Master's Degree in Transportation and Engineering Management, and a Ph.D. from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) in 2021. Skanda Kumar has more than 8 years of teaching experience and has served in various prestigious institutes. He has actively contributed in the industrial consultancy work undertaken. His other areas of interest include Highway Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Surveying, Concrete Technology, Building Materials, and Construction Technology, Transportation planning, Traffic Engineering & Management, Quality Control, Engineering Mechanics, and Road Safety. A few notable projects which have evinced industrial interest include Travel Delay and Modal Split Analysis – A Case Study, Utilization of Iron Ore Tailings as Replacement to Fine Aggregates in Cement Concrete Pavements, and Development of CLSM incorporating CETP Sludge for Pavement Subgrades. He has served as Assistant Professor at JSSATE – Mauritius, DSCE, and Jain University. He is a Life Member of the Association of Consulting Civil Engineers India (MACCE-I) and Associate Member of The Institution of Engineers (India).

Dr.M.T.Maruthesha Reddy

Dr.M.T.Maruthesha Reddy has completed an M.Sc. in Geology (1981), a Post-M.Sc in Hydrogeology (1982), and a PG Diploma in Environmental Planning (1983) from Mysore University, Mysore. He has a PhD from Bangalore University. He has a total of 37 years of teaching experience, where he has served various organisations as an assistant professor, professor, and head of the department. He is a fellow of the Geological Society of India (FGS) and the Mineralogical Society of India (FMS). He is a member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (MISTE) and the Indian Water Works Association (MIWWA). He has authored 25 national and international journal papers and 20 textbooks. He is the recipient of the Dr. MVJ Award for his outstanding journal publications and the VIFA Award in the subject of hydrogeology (lifetime).

Dr. Poonam Shekhawat

Dr. Poonam Shekhawat holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from UCE Kota, M.Tech. in Disaster Assessment and Mitigation from NIT Jaipur, and a Ph.D. from NIT Jaipur in 2021. Dr. Poonam has been associated in research and teaching from past six years at various institutes. She has been awarded GATE scholarship in 2013. She has served as Assistant Professor at Amity University and GD Goenka University. She has published and reviewed several SCI and SCOPUS indexed journal articles. Her areas of interest include Flyash-based Geopolymer, Soil Stabilization using Geopolymer, Sustainable Geotechnical Engineering, Fiber Reinforcement Technique, Soil Stabilization using Waste Materials, and Ground Improvement Techniques.

Mr. Y. R. Suresh

Y R. Suresh obtained his Bachelor Degree (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Mysore obtaining First Class with Distinction, Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Hydraulics securing First Rank and Gold Medal from the University of Mysore, and Master of Engineering (M.E.) in Structural Engineering securing First Class from the University of Bangalore. He is a GATE scholar and has a total of 22 years of teaching experience for UG courses inclusive of 10 years of PG courses in Engineering. In addition, he has 3 years of industrial experience and 3 years of research experience.He has taught more than 20 subjects at UG level and 6 subjects at PG level. He has guided more than 25 projects at the UG level and more than 10 projects at the PG level under various themes. He has 6 publications in international journals and 2 papers in international conferences to his credit. He has also worked under various capacities as Paper setter forVisvesvaraya Technological University theory examinations, Member of Board of Examiners at many autonomous institutions and Invited speaker.His area of interest includes Hydrological Modelling, Soft Computing Techniques, Plates and Shells, Finite Element Analysis and Fluid Dynamics. He is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering.

Mrs. Bhargavi C

Bhargavi C, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering received her Bachelor’s Degree from Brindavan College of Engineering, Bangalore, affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and M Tech in Structural Engineering from Reva University, Bangalore in 2014 and 2016 respectively. She was a part of research on “Effect of Blast Loading on LSCC structures when thickness of core is varied”, in CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Center, Chennai where she worked as project student for a period of 6 months(Jan 2016-June 2016). She has 2.5 years of Industry Experience(2016-2018) and 1 year of Teaching Experience(2021-2022). She is well versed with construction related software such as Revit-Architectural, Revit-Structural and ETABs. Her areas of interest include Structural Analysis, Concrete Technology and Computer Aided Designs.

Mr. Nithish Ambale

Mr. Nithish Amble completed his Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering from Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysuru in 2020. Post graduate degree in Infrastructure Engineering and Management from JSS science and Technology University Mysuru in 2022. Areas of Interests: Project Management, Quantity take off and estimations, working on civil engineering related softwares like Autocadd, Revit- Architecture and Management software like Primavera and MS Projects.

Pavan Kumar

I have completed my Post Graduate degree in Structural Engineering from Department of PG Studies, VTU Mysore in the year 2022 and bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Maharaja Institute of Technology Mysore in the year 2020. I represented National Level for VTU Belagavi in the All India Inter-University Men’s Softball Team held at Nagarjuna Sagar University, Andhra Pradesh in the year 2022. My areas of interest are Analysis and Design Subjects, Basic Surveying. Also working on civil engineering related softwares like – AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS for Analysis and Design of Structures.
