Percussion
- ID Card is compulsory.
- Minimum 4 registrations compulsory for the event to be conducted
- Time for stage or instrumental settings is max 3 minutes.
- Max no of accompanists allowed is 1.
- Judgement will be based on the choice of the taala and ability to present the nuances of the chosen taala.

Non-percussion
- ID Card is compulsory.
- Minimum 4 registrations compulsory for the event to be conducted
- Time for stage or instrumental settings is max 3 minutes.
- Max no of accompanists allowed is 2.
- Judgement will be raga, krirti, alapana, swara prastara, time management and dress code
